Cloud System Administrator

Location: Open to remote / Tallahassee, FL preferred

Reports to: Digital Workplace Manager

Department: IT Infrastructure

 

Position Summary

Trulieve is looking for an experienced Cloud Systems Administrator. This is a vital role for the IT Department as we continue to grow. This position is based out of the greater Tallahassee, Tampa or Miami Metro areas but will travel nationwide on occasion. This role focuses on bringing the highest quality support and innovation to all business software and systems for both our manufacturing and retail facilities.  If you have a passion for customer service, working with a dedicated team, and helping our facilities succeed through technical solutions, then please consider joining the Trulieve IT team.

 

Job Description:

  • Create and manage infrastructure solutions for any cloud environment, such as Azure (Primary) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a multi cloud environment.
  • Help with the administration and development of the following:
      • Infrastructure monitoring and response
      • All endpoint management platforms (E.g. Tanium, Intune, Mosyle, etc)
      • Application Discovery and Onboarding
      • All existing, Legacy, or potential Software, Databases and Systems
      • Cisco Meraki Networking solutions
      • Provide Tier 3 IT Support as needed – onsite and remote.
  • 70% Cloud Systems Engineering and Development and 30% General IT Support.
  • Works with the Digital Workplace Manager and IT Support Managers to provide a smooth customer experience.
  • Help with training and documentation for the support staff for application specific problems.
  • Provide creative solutions to unusual problems.
  • Responsible for responding to technical needs 24/7.
  • Travel to different locations nationwide, up to 35%.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the IT Executive leadership and Management.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of System Administration experience can be substituted for specific degree.
  • 2+ years working in IT Support or customer support Environment.
  • Networking and System Administration in a cloud environment is preferred.
  • Cisco Meraki Layer 2 and 3 networking experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Full Stack Development and infrastructure as code is preferred.
  • Experience with BACnet and IOT solutions is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable with multiple OS ecosystems. (Microsoft, Apple, Android, etc.)
  • Must be an excellent leader with ability to work with a diverse team, including vendors and external partners.
  • Must be willing take instruction from peers and customers.
  • Must approach all situations with a security and stability first mindset.
  • Willingness to comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Ability to manage and govern internal and external partners, including vendors.
  • Ability to take lead on unexpected application specific problems and prioritize appropriately.
  • Effective time- management and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% of the time nationwide.
  • Ability to make educated decisions quickly.
  • Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a passion for Customer service and problem solving.
  • Excellent Communication skill, both written and verbal

 

Salary will be commensurate with experience.   A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
