Job Title: Senior Manager, Leadership and Talent Development
Reports to: HR Director, Learning & Development
Department: Corporate & Creative L&D
Location: Must Live in the East Coast U.S / Remote / 25%+ Travel
Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Leadership and Talent Development leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide programs that build leadership capability and strengthen organizational talent strategies. This role partners with senior leaders, HR, and external experts to deliver innovative solutions that align with business objectives and foster a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Program Leadership
- Drive the evolution, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide leadership and talent development programs aligned with organizational strategy.
- Facilitation & Delivery
- Utilize advanced facilitation skills to deliver leadership and professional development programs, courses, and workshops for high-potential employees and mid-to-senior-level leaders.
- Program Design
- Design and develop leadership development programs, ensuring seamless integration and monitoring participant progress.
- Process & Tools Development
- Assess organizational needs and recommend, create, and implement leadership development processes, tools, and resources that support strategic and tactical business plans.
- Collaboration & Content Creation
- Partner with internal and external subject matter experts, business leaders, and vendors to design innovative content, tools, and learning solutions that address leadership capability gaps.
- Culture & Change Enablement
- Support cultural transformation initiatives by embedding learning competencies linked to business strategy and organizational values.
- Measurement & ROI Analysis
- Establish metrics to evaluate program effectiveness, measure ROI, and ensure application of acquired skills for sustained impact.
- Consulting & Advisory
- Serve as a subject matter expert, advising internal clients on talent management best practices and proposing data-driven recommendations aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Executive Communication & Influence
- Communicate talent management strategies and solutions to HR and business leaders, including executives, using data insights to drive buy-in and implementation.
- Strategy & Standards Development
- Contributes to the development and reinforcement of talent management philosophy, strategy, and standards; create tools and assessments that guide managers in making effective talent decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in leadership development, talent management, or organizational development.
- Experience in retail or production industry is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-wide leadership programs.
- Located near a major airport and willing to travel up to 25% as needed.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Seasoned subject matter expert in performance management, talent, and other Organizational Development programs.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills; certification in leadership assessments (e.g., Hogan, MBTI) preferred.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
