Tax Analyst Intern

Department: Tax

Reports to: State & Local Tax Manager

Location: Clearwater, FL – Hybrid 2 days onsite, 1 day remote

FLSA Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Position Summary:
The tax analyst will report to the State & Local Tax Manager. This position requires a professional with intermediate excel skills who is flexible, deadline driven, and has a strong attention to detail with an ability to operate in a constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities:
•    Respond to inquiries from taxing authorities as well as from internal departments and external business partners
•    Assist with Indirect Tax return preparation and filing 
•    General ledger balance sheet reconciliations
•    Other duties as assigned by manager

QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Intermediate to advanced Excel skills including pivots and v-lookups
•    Experience using tax software and ERP systems a plus but not required
•    Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Salary will be commensurate with experience.   A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
