Job Summary

Trulieve’s Creative Director manages the creative direction of our three pillars: corporate, retail and brands (owned and partnered).  They are accountable to ensure each project, no matter how big or small, produces world-class work. They will oversee multiple cross functional needs and requests from ask through execution, demonstrating team leadership, a strong point of view, and motivational skills throughout. They are experts in identifying and nurturing both great ideas and great talent. We’re always ambitious, infiltrating culture and changing minds and perceptions of every changing cannabis environment. Job Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain and grow our reputation as one of the world’s most trusted cannabis company’s
  • Grasp the business at the highest level and determine how to drive growth; consistently have a unique point of view dedicated to the interest of the customer first.
  • Find creative opportunities on even the most challenging of markets/requests.
  • Inspire work beyond traditional advertising; develop and foster inventive ideas with a point of view not constrained by the weight of regulatory influence.
  • Push for unique ideas in social, digital and ideas that use innovative technology for the benefit of the customer.
  • Solve problems by creating integrated systems
  • Celebrate effectiveness as well as creativity
  • Fight for smart ideas and find ways to make the impossible tangible
  • Build cross functional relationships with a deep understanding of their challenges, their business needs, and the role of creative in their success.
  • Manage the performance and career paths of multiple creative individuals.


Basic Qualifications
 

  • 8-12 Years experience
  • Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating smart, brand-building ideas and executions
  • Has independently led multiple pieces of business simultaneously
  • Experience managing career growth and development of creative associates and designers
  • Confidence in the understanding of business basics for which influence creative pathways
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple pieces of business and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work internally- excellent presentation skills
  • Preferred knowledge of the plant, regulations or similar industry correlations (tobacco, alcohol, etc)


     

 

Salary will be commensurate with experience.   A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
