ROLE SUMMARY
Trulieve’s Medical Professionals are critical to our business as they have important responsibilities regarding operations and compliance. Medical Professionals at Trulieve interface with customers as the employees who verify our customers’ active patient certification and any corresponding limitations/restrictions and conduct initial consultations with new customers; reviewing the customer’s health history and provide guidance/recommendations regarding the use of medical marijuana. This role serves as the healthcare expert for the team, while also providing excellent customer service throughout interactions with customers. Due to the highly regulated nature of the medical marijuana industry, this role will also include certain responsibilities that are mandated by the Pennsylvania Department of Health for Trulieve to remain in compliance.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Trulieve’s medical professional shall be REMOTE and available during all operating hours when scheduled.

Responsible for conducting consultations via phone with customers who request to have one.

Help customers navigate the use of medical marijuana.

Conduct consultations with new and existing customers in a timely manner.

Verify an active DOH certification for each Trulieve customer upon every visit prior to dispensing, noting any restrictions or limitations.

Assist with verifying the certifications for customers at other locations as needed to support a team environment.

Additional tasks may be assigned by the Pharmacy Director or General Manager individually depending on dispensary needs
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must be actively licensed as a pharmacist, nurse practitioner, or physician’s assistant

Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion.

Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff.

Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment (computer, laptop), comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices.

Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Must be able to pass State and Federal background checks.

Must complete State required Medical Professional training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks

Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions

Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with patients and co-workers.
WORK SCHEDULE:

Up to 40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
