Job Title: Distribution Supervisor
Department: Supply Chain
Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: Phoenix, AZ
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Distribution Supervisor to plan and coordinate our daily product shipments. To succeed in this role, you should have thorough knowledge of supply chain management and an understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods, dispatching orders, and tracking transportation vehicles. You should also be familiar with safety processes and DOT/OSHA regulations and ensure that all shipments are completed in a safe and timely manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and supervise the shipments from inventory to the dispensaries
- Schedule daily and weekly routes
- Track orders using functional systems (e.g., barcodes and tracking software)
- Monitor and report on transportation costs
- Ensure shipping documents are properly maintained
- Report on maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles and equipment
- Conduct regular safety audits
- Organize training sessions for employees
- Keep organized records of vehicles, schedules, and complete orders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation

QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven work experience as a Transportation Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor or
- Solid knowledge of supply chain management
- Experience preparing and tracking orders
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to supervise and train staff
- Problem-solving abilities
- SAP experience
ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Education or GED graduate, college graduate preferred
- One to two years’ experience processing cannabis in a regulated facility preferred
- Previous experience in licensed cannabis production facility preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Duties required, perform grasping, carrying, sitting, and repetitive motions.
- You must be able to lift, carry and balance up to forty pounds, manage stairs, and perform typical cleaning of facilities and equipment.
