Construction Project Manager
Location: Arizona
Reports to: National Director of Construction
Position Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing construction projects throughout the state of Florida. This role will report directly to the National Director of Construction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Coordinate and direct contractors and subcontractors
- Meet contractual conditions of performance
- Review the work progress on daily basis
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Review terms of agreements
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5+ years of Commercial Construction experience required.
- Proven working experience in construction and project management
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Familiarity with construction management software packages
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Leadership and human resources management skills
- BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field, preferred but not required
Additional Requirements:
- Some travel will be required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background screening
Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position.
