Job Title: Director of Beverage Sales & Distribution Department: Beverage
Location: Remote + travel Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Director of Beverage Distribution and Sales is responsible for leading and executing the company’s beverage sales, distribution, and growth strategy. This role oversees all sales operations, distribution logistics, and key client relationships to maximize revenue, market share, and profitability. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the beverage industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales and operational excellence. They will be an integral part of the beverage leadership team, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
· Establish and maintain relationships with key distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and other sales channels.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and emerging market trends.
· Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring team accountability and continuous improvement.
· Oversee the distribution network to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high service levels.
· Optimize supply chain logistics, warehousing, and inventory management.
· Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.
· Negotiate and manage contracts with distributors, suppliers, and transportation partners.
· Develop and manage the department’s budget, ensuring profitability and cost control.
· Analyze market trends, sales data, and competitive insights to inform strategic decisions.
· Collaborate with marketing, product development, and finance teams to align sales strategies with business goals.
· Present regular reports to senior leadership on sales performance, forecasts, and growth opportunities.

· Perform risk management analysis to minimize negative outcomes.
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
· Build brand awareness and establish market positioning for in-house beverage brands
· Keep abreast of evolving Cannabis and beverage landscapes to identify trends and opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to think critically, analyze complex data and provide solutions. Must be comfortable with multi-tasking and possess strong working knowledge to develop advanced software tools and business solutions
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Extensive experience with developing and implementing sales strategies
· Extensive experience with Transportation and supply chain management
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, Masters degree preferred
· Minimum 10 years of experience working within the beverage industry, MSO preferred
· Experience building performance marketing within retailer owned media networks a strong plus
· Effective utilization of Smartsheet, Microsoft Suite, Adobe, Excel and PowerPoint
· Strong analytical skills, observant, inquisitive and attentive
· Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
· Strong written skills and ability to articulate and verbally communicate effectively with key stakeholders
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
· Flexibility of hours – some nights and weekends required.
· Available to occasionally travel and possess a valid driver's license
· Ideal location Southeast US and/or Florida preferred
· Must be able to pass a level 2 background check
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· Frequently operate computing devices and other office productivity machinery
· Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others including members of the public
· Occasionally required to remain in a seated position; occasionally required to work in production environments with loud noises

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
