Social Media Specialist - REMOTE
Department: Digital Marketing
Reporting to: Senior, Social Media Manager
Location: Remote / Northeast, PA, WV and MD (candidate living in PA, Philadelphia area preferred)
Travel: Up to 30-40% in NE region
Type: Entry Level (1.5-2.5 years’ experience preferred)

Position Summary
This position will report to the Senior, Social Media Manager, on the Digital Marketing team, a part of Marketing Department. Top-level duties include documenting Trulieve’s corporate social media branding, tonality, and identity across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, live-streaming, recorded video and more.
Responsibilities:
- Capture video content across in-store activations, community events, and physician engagement.
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate action
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred: Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or similar (Not required)
- Social media management 1.5-2.5 years’ experience preferred
- Experience with Sprinklr/Hootsuite/HubSpot/Meltwater or similar
- Travel: 30-40% in field visits (Northeast)
- Flexibility of hours – nights and weekends
- Technology proficiency
- Belief in relationship building and working as part of a team to achieve goals/results
- Organized, responsible and flexible in a fast-paced growth environment
WORK SCHEDULE:
- 40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on business needs.
- Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays
Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
