Job Title: Inventory Analyst 

Department: Profit Protection  

Reports to: Product Inventory Manager

ROLE SUMMARY 

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for providing support to Retail Stores with systematic inventory control in all Trulieve’s POS systems and State mandated Seed to Sale systems. The Product Inventory Analyst is also responsible for all inventory movement and adjustment reporting. The Product Inventory Analyst is also responsible for working with the Profit Protection team in identifying inventory control issues with the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Creates Physical Inventory (PI) count sheets for Trulieve’s Scanning Method. 

  • Posts and is responsible for Physical Inventory (PI) counts for Retail dispensaries. 

  • Creates and publishes PI count results for SAP/OMS, Dutchie POS, and MJ Platform states. 

  • Creates SAP Retail destruction return transfers for products needing to be green wasted at Production. 

  • Tracks all transfers to Retail Stores from Trulieve’s distribution centers utilizing Samsara. Also track open transfers that have not been fully accepted by Retail Stores. 

  • Adjusts all transfer discrepancies found in Retail Stores. Work with the Production team to properly move products to ensure accuracy of inventory in the Retail Stores and Production. 

  • Adjusts/Reconciles all Retail inventory for Stores operating on SAP/OMS, Dutchie POS, and MJ Platform systems. 

  • Investigates inventory movement prior to making any inventory adjustments on behalf of and requested by dispensaries utilizing SAP GUI or SAP Fiori. 

  • Works with and maintains positive collaborating efforts with all divisions throughout the company. 

  • Submits for the enterprise discovered system issues to proper IT/SAP support Teams such as but not limited to Ecommerce health, database health, and inventory creation management. 

  • Responsible for keeping clear records of inventory movements to comply with SOX Compliance utilizing Zendesk ticketing system. 

  • Collaborates with Retail Operations in the creation and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inventory control in the dispensary and for submission of inventory tickets. 

  • Collaborates with the Profit Protection Team in creating and updating inventory training for dispensary teams. 

  • Collaborates with the Profit Protection Team on any inventory related integrity investigations. 

  • Creates and updates Store KPI reporting. Updating weekly dashboard for Profit Protection. 

  • Collaborates with Quality Assurance teams during QA investigations to move all QA issue products and create return transfers for green waste or rework when necessary. 

  • Assists in QAS testing for SAP and OMS for Retail Stores. 

  • Monitors SAP to Metrc sales failures and creates CSVs for West Virginia dispensaries. 

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Minimum high school diploma, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 

  • 1 year minimum of inventory experience. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong focus on excel. 

  • Proficient in written and verbal communication skills 

  • Proven experience in medical cannabis dispensary operations preferred 

  • Must have acute organizational skills with a high aptitude for meeting objectives and maintaining detail orientation. 

  • Aptitude to understand data to drive decisions. 

  • SAP experience preferred. 

  • Retail/OMS+ POS, Duchie & MJ Freeway experience preferred. 

  • Zendesk experience 

  • Metrc / Bio track Experience preferred. 

  • Dutchie POS/back-office experience 

 

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record. 

  • Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background check and drug screening. 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age. 

  • Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties. 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance. 

  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks. 

  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions 

  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise) 

 

WORK SCHEDULE 

  • 45+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs, Physical Inventory counts and Micro counts schedules. Must be available to work Holidays and weekends as well as late evenings when necessary. 

Salary will be commensurate with experience.   A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
