QA Lead – eCommerce

Reports to: QA Manager

Department: I.T

Position Summary:

This position entails leadership, management, and hands-on responsibilities in ensuring the quality and reliability of eCommerce implementations and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and plans for eCommerce projects.
• Provide input and guidance on creation of automated test scripts for eCommerce modules.
• Create and maintain QA documentation, including test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices and standards.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee the execution of manual and automated testing for eCommerce modules.
• Ensure thorough testing of eCommerce functionalities, interfaces, and integrations.
• Manage defect tracking and resolution processes.
• Coordinate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct regression testing to validate the stability of the eCommerce systems after changes or upgrades.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of PWA QA analysts and testers.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of QA activities.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Work closely with PWA functional and technical teams to understand requirements and design test strategies.
• Collaborate with business users to gather testing requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Communicate QA status, risks, and issues to project stakeholders, including senior management.
• Coordinate with external vendors and consultants as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software QA with at least 2 years in a QA leadership role
• Strong understanding of eCommerce systems, such as shopping carts, checkout flows, product catalogs, and payment integrations
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of cross-browser and responsive testing
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Familiarity with the Magento 2 platform / Adobe suite preferred
• Experience using tools like Azure DevOps, LambdaTest, and Tricentis preferred
• Knowledge of performance, security, and accessibility testing preferred
• ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred
