Job Title: Retail Solutions Support Specialist

Department: Retail Solutions

Reports To: Retail Solutions Support Supervisor

FLSA Status: Regular Exempt

 

Role Summary:

The Retail Solutions Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining retail-owned third-party systems and programs, ensuring resources are accurate and accessible, and supporting store teams in their use of these tools. This role assists with training, procedural updates, and reporting, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of retail operations. The specialist works closely with the Retail Solutions Support Supervisor and partners with the Retail Communications team to ensure timely communication of system changes.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update retail-owned third-party systems and tools to support operational needs.
  • Maintain user access for all supported systems to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Ensure resource materials reflect current processes and are accessible to store teams.
  • Assist with training store teams on system usage, including updates related to customer delivery operations and routing procedures.
  • Support the implementation of procedural changes across retail locations.
  • Contribute to reporting and analysis on system utilization and performance.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Communications team to support timely communication of system updates and changes.
  • Provide field support through troubleshooting, training, and system education.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree preferred in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience with retail systems and operational support preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and training abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic reporting tools.

 

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a MVR background check.
  • Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background check.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
  • Must be able to relate to and work with patrons of different ages, abilities, and patrons that at times are experiencing emotional distress, or displaying a hostile attitude.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

  • Occasionally required to move/traverse throughout entire facility, including tight spaces.
  • Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, including members of the public; observe/inspect details at varying ranges; operate computing devices
  • Occasionally required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools, office machinery): push/pull objects up to 50lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 50 lbs.; ascend/descend stool/ladder/steps; position self and/or objects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl).
  • Must have visual and auditory acuity with or without aids to perform all functions of the position.
  • Frequently required to remain in a seated position.

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

45+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on business needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel 10%-20% of work schedule depending on business needs.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.   A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
