SAP Operations Analyst

Department: Retail Procurement

Reports to: National Buying Manager

FLSA Status: Regular- Exempt

Location: Remote/East Coast Office in any Market  

Position Summary:

 Reporting to the National Buying Manager, this role will support the procurement and wholesale teams in delivering the business plan by representing the purchasing team on all supply chain/ logistics team interactions and efficiently handling of Third-Party orders (order placement, pricing). Also, SAP Analyst will communicate with customers on order delivery dates & times, resolve customer order issues, accounts receivable follow-up, forecast product needs and work with the supply team on future product availability.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the procurement ordering function through SAP
• Act as the buying order/ delivery point person for supply chain/ logistics
• Own the third-party ordering and problem resolution process
• Assembling and communicating daily Purchase Orders - available products/pricing with delivery details
• Influencing the delivery team to optimal performance by holding the team accountable to key metrics such as, but not limited to, agreed to customer delivery communication lead times, on-time deliveries, and order accuracy.
• Attendance and participation in weekly supply chain/ logistics meetings to provide insight into customer experiences (good/ opportunistic), shipping performance and future shipping forecast
• Ensuring everyday pricing and product accuracy by order
• Effective and efficient partner communication
• Liaising with vendors to arrange collection, agree on delivery, resolve delivery and/ or invoice issues

• Provide analytical support, utilizing various data sources/tools, to ensure quality results are delivered.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Experience with wholesale operation/ logistics and retail distribution processes
• SAP proficient
• A high level of organizational skill with the ability to multi-task and see activities through to completion to a high standard.
• Attention to detail and capable of reacting flexibly to different requirements for multiple accounts
• Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills; must be competent in managing and manipulation large complex data sets
• A strong team player, capable of working with others to get the job done and willing to step outside core role to help the broader team
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to establish strong relationships with cross-functional teams at all levels
