Job Title:

Security Operations Center (SOC) Supervisor

Job Purpose:

The SOC Supervisor will provide customer service, prompt communication delivery and support to all departments and locations within their scope. The SOC Supervisor is responsible for all internal security operations tasks and the management of its personnel. The Security Operations Center provides communication and awareness for leadership and tactical direction for each security function. The SOC Supervisor will work alongside the National Security Operations Team to identify, detect, and respond, to DOH related issues, system health checks, the continuity of safety, security incidents, communicating developments, maintaining awareness, and following procedures for security events. The SOC Supervisor may participate in security investigations. The SOC Supervisor should have familiarity with the principles of physical security, basic network awareness, and endpoint security. The SOC Supervisor communicates current threat(s) and potential attack trends based on the threat and security posture of the SOC.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

• Serves as technical expert on all SOC matters including items related to monitoring and response to all facilities and properties under their span of control. Provides partner and client intelligence, operations, and communication on time sensitive security tactics for strategic executive management.

• Ensures SOC staff compliance with training, all applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, corporate policies, guidelines and procedures.

• Promotes an environment of professionalism, compliance, and continuous improvement, to meet the Corporation's operational goals and objectives.

• Develops and maintains a SOC staff that supports the overall business mission, goals, and objectives.

• Additional responsibilities include creating processes, collecting and assessing incident reports, and developing and implementing high liability communication plans.

• Creates audit and compliance reports to support the SOC’s audit process, measure the SOC’s performance metrics, and report on the overall security posture from an operations to business leader perspective.

The SOC Supervisor plans for all responses to company asset loss, facility response, damage, theft, emergency management, etc, and mitigates responses as needed. This is accomplished through specific communication, organized partnerships, operational planning, physical security and proven operational security which is driven from the National Security Operations Director level of need.

This role will report directly to the National Security Operations Director for Trulieve Security Operations.

Security Operations Center:

  • Manages operations from the Security Operations Center; identify trends, needs, service, concerns, or recommendations for real time threat and field level security professionals
  • Review tickets to validate information storage such as site inspections, safety inspections, quality inspections and other reports which may be of value to identify security threats, trends, or risks to our overall business objective
  • Manages and requires employees to support the business from a national perspective. Maintains the ability to leverage resources, relationships, and systems to proactively mitigate potential threats and risks to a rapidly growing company
  • Reports and conducts training with security employees as needed. Ensure they are aware of outcomes we can facilitate through maintenance, physical security, training, and training exercises
  • Provides direction, assistance, and leadership to achieve desired results
  • Maintains an open line of communication and partnership with Corporate/Operations Management throughout each region and the nation
  • Manages cadence of the company needs. Conducts regular audits to evaluate the performance of security team members, contacts, and established SOPs
  • Plans, communicates, and trains employees on the emergency management process and conducts tabletop exercises or after-action reviews as needed.
  • Coordinates security exercises in conjunction with The National Security Operations Director.
  • Monitors and reports on risk to our leadership team and our employees

Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of SOC management work experience
  • 3 or more years inside of a Security Operations environment
  • Experience in management, IT Security, operations, ITIL framework, agile project management, and leadership.
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees
  • Experience with managing a diverse group of technological oriented members
  • Must possess leadership, communication, conflict management, people management, reporting, critical thinking, and problem solving, and planning and organization skills
  • Proven ability to manage all operations, maintenance, and functions of the Security Policy, within the environment
  • Broad understanding of cyber security and network infrastructure is a must
  • Candidate will possess ability to be a successful self-starter
  • Possess excellent communication, negotiation, and managerial skills
  • Experience with managing diverse groups of technologically oriented people
  • Strategic thinking; focused on providing business value to end-users      
  • Experience with conflict resolution and de-escalation
  • Experience with complex problem solving and being detail oriented
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary will be commensurate with experience.   A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
