Job Title: Learning Architect

Role Summary:       

The Learning Architect delivers business-focused, efficient, and innovative learning and development programs and experiences, thoughtfully designed to help our employees at every stage of their career.  The Learning Architect will partner with Trulieve’s business leaders to develop dynamic training that will help to drive business initiatives. The primary focus of this position is on content development using Articulate Storyline, project management to oversee the project life cycle from receiving requests to launching deliverables, providing input into creating tools to measure effectiveness of training programs and facilitate training as needed.  

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with management to evaluate individual and organizational development needs
  • Partner with business leaders to analyze areas where growth is needed and create or institute impactful training and solutions to amplify that growth for the business.
  • Create innovative, adult-oriented learning solutions that encourage employees to achieve the highest business impact.
  • Design courses and develop curricula that ensure effective learning experiences.
  • Work with subject matter experts to create various deliverables.
  • Implement various learning methods company-wide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training, in-person training)
  • Leverage problem-solving skills and frameworks to analyze business needs and to articulate relevant high-level perspectives on potential capability development solutions.
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
  • Establish and regularly report on baseline metrics for learning engagement, program outcomes, and ROI.
  • Work with HR and key business stakeholders to integrate, assess, and report on progress and challenges.
  • Champion a continuous improvement mindset and a “can-do” approach to ensure value to the business.
  • Seek the best educational content to support organizational goals and increase learning and improvement.
  • Use a defined curriculum framework, multiple platforms, and industry best practices to validate, organize, package, promote, and deliver current and relevant content.
  • Facilitate training sessions, ensuring that they are engaging, interactive, and effective in delivering key learning objectives.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, Training Specialist or similar experience.
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years Articulate experience

  • Vyond & Adobe suite experience preferred 

  • A deep understanding of instructional design, program development, analytics, learning technology, and adult learning principles

  • Proven experience in instructional design or similar role 

  • Strong creative aptitude with a portfolio we can assess

  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
  • Experience with visual design
  • Experience in project management
  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS); Litmos a plus
  • Natural Problem Solver
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate across different levels of an organization
  • Strongly self-motivated, to include studying and maintaining a working knowledge of industry standards and trends
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish highly desired
  • Degree in Instructional Design or a related field

 

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be willing to submit to and pass a comprehensive background record screening.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on business needs.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.   A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
