Location: 22-32 stores-North Gulf Coast to South Gulf Coast (St. Petersburg to Bonita Springs to Sebring)

Travel: In-store vists 4 days/week

 

ROLE SUMMARY

The Area Learning and Development Facilitator is responsible for supporting the continued learning for Trulieve employees to improve overall national operations. In this rewarding position, the Area Learning and Development Facilitator will aid in efforts to implement and execute proactive classroom and on-the-job coaching and training, facilitate training schedules, and support employee cultural strategies with new, creative tactics and delivery methods that will give the retail department a competitive edge. The Area L&D Facilitator will be responsible for supporting the organization’s talent by providing training during new hire orientation and as needed throughout employment. The Learning and Development team is looking for a dynamic, creative, and passionate team member. We are looking for someone who is ready to learn and develop themselves as well as new and existing employees. The candidate must have a creative mindset regarding modern learning and will support various retail functions within the approaches, have a keen understanding of effective facilitation and learning design methods, technical aptitude, analytical skills, be learning-focused, and have a desire to drive scalable strategic advancement with transformative learning and development program.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the L&D team leadership to respond to training and development requests sourced from retail leadership, retail operations, and through observation in the field after collaboration with leadership.
  • Provide onsite, hands-on coaching, training, development, and support for Retail Team Members, as identified by the Retail Training Supervisor.
  • Work in tandem with Learning and Development team to collaborate on content creation, delivery, and record keeping of training materials.
  • Support the implementation of L&D programs that will prepare employees for the next step of their career paths.
  • Responsible for providing product education for Trulieve products and 3rd party brands to retail field.
  • Support a high-quality on-the-job training team to develop a positive L&D atmosphere while continually evaluating the effectiveness of the available programs.
  • Provide feedback and reporting concerning L&D challenges, such as but not limited to student comprehension, delivery methods, technical difficulties, and process improvement needs.
  • Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous on-the-job training initiatives to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
  • Champion employee engagement and facilitate business success by fostering a culture focused on continuous learning.
  • Uphold best practices and corporate learning and development principles.
  • Lead, inspire, and champion culture-focused initiatives and facilitate related L&D opportunities.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a strong knowledge of learning and development, sales processes, and company policies.
  • Strong coaching, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Must be able to deliver learning and development opportunities using a variety of training techniques and experienced working with computer-based training software and learning management systems
  • Experience with various computer-based training and instructor-led training initiatives.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Must be organized and able to work through multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
  • Ability to direct and execute the full training cycle, including training assessment, design, delivery, implementation, and evaluation
  • Solid ability with the use of English language. Spanish as an additional language is a plus.
  • Training, L&D, or Facilitation certifications are a plus

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physical requirements of frequent bending, stooping, standing, and walking in retail environment
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Must be able to use normal office equipment (scanner, printer, copier, computer). Requires adequate hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background check and drug screening

WORK SCHEDULE:

45+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on business needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel 75-90% of work schedule.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.   A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
