Job Title: Senior Compensation Manager
Department: Human Resources
Location: Remote or Hybrid
Reports To: HR Director, Total Rewards & HRIS
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Senior Compensation Manager will be an integral part of Trulieve’s Total Rewards department, reporting to the HR Director, Total Rewards & HRIS. The role will play a critical role in developing and managing comprehensive compensation strategies that align with Trulieve's business goals and reinforce our ability to attract, retain, and reward top talent. The ideal candidate will lead compensation initiatives, provide expert analysis, and ensure competitive and equitable pay practices across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement compensation programs, policies, and frameworks that support organizational objectives and maintain market competitiveness.
- Conduct in-depth market benchmarking and analysis to ensure exemplary governance of salary structures, pay ranges, and incentive programs.
- Oversee the evaluation, classification, and leveling of roles to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational standards.
- Leverage data to provide insights and recommendations on compensation trends, workforce analytics, and cost projections.
- Ensure all compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including FLSA, EEO, and pay equity laws.
- Execute compensation cycles by managing the planning and execution of merit increases, bonus programs, and long-term incentive plans.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and other business leaders to address compensation-related needs and challenges effectively.
- Design and deliver clear communication strategies to enhance employee understanding of compensation programs.
- Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is highly desirable.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in compensation, including management roles.
- Deep knowledge of market pricing tools, job evaluation methodologies, and compensation systems.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel, HRIS platforms, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Proven track record of managing complex compensation projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This role requires prolonged periods of sitting and using a computer.
- Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, conferences, or business needs.
- Ability to manage work with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and focus.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
